my new pet

My new pet arrived in the mail today:

Yes my friends, that is my Pet Fart. Do you even know how much this makes me laugh!?! I saw this online and Nikki and I just had to order one...immediately. I mean...seriously...check out what the box says:

I am laughing just writing about it. I also got a pamphlet on how to care for my Pet Fart.

All I can say is....amazing. Who knew there was even such an item out there. I love it. Where is my Pet Fart going to reside you ask?!   Probably in the bathroom....on the shelf. And if anything happens it will be in a good place to be replaced. As you see....it is refillable. How handy.

if you notice the brand of this clothing is "Chubbette Fashions" somehow I don't think that would fly in these current times....nothing like telling the kid outright that they really are fat because they wear Chubbette clothing

defeated

this morning i was defeated by the automatic car wash. i don't like auto car washes but thought i could handle it-I couldn't. my car didnt line up correctly so it wasnt working-well, it kinda did but didnt...then my wheel was like going nowhere cause it was too close to the edge of the metal and then it kinda went forward half way in and wasn't moving so it had soap and water on it but nothing else-i was stuck. next i freaked out a bit and didn't know what the heck to do-do I drive forward? do I back up? AHHH!! so i finally backed up and there was a car behind me-GREAT! I got out, told the lady I couldn't get my car on the track and was going to back up-which I did...with some soap residue on my car. I am still greatly embarrassed inside. bad way to start a monday morning and seriously...I am 29-you would think i would be able to handle an automatic car wash-nope, guess not. i am taking my car to get washed at the regular do-it-yourself car wash over lunch.....

in happier news....i just got tickets for ben, nikki, and i to see flight of the conchords live in april!..... a least something went right with my day!:)

oversized

tonight we went to borders because I wanted to get the 3rd book in the Twlight series....which I did get but ALSO got the most wonderfully amazing deal on one of my all time favorite books..Corduroy! i have always loved this book and what better thing to get than an oversized version! Ben got a book about the cosmos which was equally big-just with more pages. So..this is how we spent out Friday night....

I am also purchasing this book online tonight....I am crocheting again and will hopefully someday be able to make these cute creepy guys.....

Love It

2 dvds of my all time new favorite show came in the mail today. Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Wow I love that show and am going to watch these dvds over and over and over:)
In other news..its freezing here and I am tired of it...tired of the endless snow and cold temps...the news said some places around here could get down to -15! Are you joking me?!? With wind chills of -30.... Oh how I long for warmer weather...

sunday eve

its sunday eve and i am just sitting here watching Planet Earth with Ben. Its been a snowy weekend and i have not liked it-luckily i didnt have to really go out into it except to shovel the cars out and walk to Whole Foods to get some groceries. we did stop by walgreens as well and i got this little mushroom guy-isn't he cute? He is like the eggling I have-you crack the top and a little plant should eventually start to grow....I wanted the one with the red top but it wasn't the plant I liked-this one is a snapdragon. i am looking forward to seeing him grow!

I forgot to share this gem of a game with you. when we went to peoria over christmas-bens aunt had given me this game ...it was in a white box and it said something like-Clean Words Game. I thought...hmm... whatever I don't want this. Then I took another gander at the dice and was like-yeah, on second thought-I'll take that;) Its quite the collection of dice with quite the selection of words-I have given you the privilege of reading one side on each dice....some are even "dicier" on the other sides so I have censored them;) I think it might be like another game I have: Dirty Minds. It gives you words that make you think all kinds of possible dirty things but really it is explaining regular items...so who knows! There were not directions with this but it cracks me up none the less.....I think I might call them my Dirty Dice.....

nothing much more exciting is going on here...ben is going to be at CSO rehersal practice pretty much every night this week and I'll be hanging out by myself... thats pretty much the extent of our upcoming week:) And of course I'm sure the week will contain more snow which-gee, I just can't wait for....

mushroom

my mom found a mushroom and so i was trying to identify it with my World Treasury of Mushrooms in Color book for her. It was my grandpas book and I always loved looking through it as a kid. As I was looking through, my eyes fell upon this horror:


Phallus impudicus
Volva white or yellowish. Soft whitish stem, about 4 inches tall, pitted with holes. White receptacle at top of stem, pockmarked surface, filled with a slimy greenish substance. Repulsive smell. Common in woods, in the fall. Poisonous.

Crate and Bare All

So this eve ben and I were going into Crate and Barrel to check out their sofas. As we approached the door this tall lady with a way short skirt was in front of us. As she walked up to the door lo and behold a gust of wind just happened to blow by. What happened next you may ask?? Well we saw it all. All being her butt without underwear or a thong we couldn't see. Yep folks it was the whole butt view!!
I was dying inside!! As we walked in the store she realized her dress was exposing her bare bottom so she tried to pull it down while the nice sales people said "Whoa. Kinda breezy out there". We just breezed on by and went to the escalator as fast as possible. Once we were out of sight we died laughing. I don't think I will ever walk in Crate and Barrel again without this bare incident coming to mind. Its definitely been an awesome friday night!!
